Alexandria Satya, BA, MA, PhD (ABD), YTT-200
Hi, I’m Alex — a deeply feeling human who finds meaning in life’s tender, transformative moments.
My work as a psychotherapist and yoga teacher is shaped by my own path of healing and growth.
Along the way, I’ve found deep inspiration in the intersection of psychotherapy, mindfulness, and spirituality.
I began my career in social work over 15 years ago, supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Though I once imagined a life in academia, my journey led me through unexpected turns — including a move to Israel, where my healing deepened through yoga, meditation, and nervous system work.
That experience inspired me to open a private practice in 2022, and these days, I split my time between teaching yoga and working one-on-one with clients.
My own practices — meditation, movement, breathwork, journaling, and time in nature — help me stay grounded and connected.
I believe healing happens in connection and relationships — in spaces where we feel seen, safe, and supported. It’s a joy and an honor to hold that kind of space for others.
